Garlic may not taste as good as dark chocolate does, but they do have something in common. Of course, I am talking about the fact that garlic can lower your blood pressure too. Just eat a couple of cloves per day and your blood pressure will be okay.

Water is not food, but thanks to its capability to flush out excessive toxins, it does help you to lower blood pressure.

You should understand that just consuming these products does not necessarily make all your problems go away. But they do, however, have benefits, if you have a well balanced diet. There are many cases in which you urgently need to see a doctor, as high blood pressure is quite a serious condition.

However, include those foods in your daily diet and you will manage to lower blood pressure to a certain degree. For instance, for breakfast, you can have low fat milk, fruits and milk rich in calcium. At lunch, you can have fish enriched in omega 3, some lean poultry, vegetables and a small amount of carbs. Bread, pasta and whole grain rice are also good. For dinner, you may opt for the same food as for lunch.

Happily, as you can see, there are natural remedies able to lower blood pressure. All you have to do is to have a well balanced diet containing food like the ones mentioned above: foods rich in potassium, calcium or magnesium, dark chocolate and garlic.
