Great phone, great specs, SPECTACULAR camera

The phone is amazing! I couldn’t have been happier! Though the specs are about half as good as a S7 model, the specs are great for the price (this was about $160, while an S7 goes for about $700). And while the specs are only half as good as the s7 model, they’re over twice as good as other models in this price range.

Wow, the technology just gets better and better. I ordered this phone after my GalaxyIII would not charge. New battery, new charging cable even a charging pad, cleaned out the usb port with a paperclip, nothing worked! I guess the writing was on the wall, it was time for a new phone. Ok with some angst about making the purchase, I read amazing reviews about the S7, but could not bring myself to spend that kind of money, infact I had almost convinced myself to buy any brand of cheap phone that would serve my purposes. However, I decided, once you own a Samsung, how can you go back? Fortunatly, I came across this J7. It was advertised on Virgin Mobiles site for 229.00 and apparently they can’t keep them in stock. So when I found it here on Amazon at 174.99, my fate was sealed.
Great phone better price!

So far I am loving this phone. I previously had the LG Volt for about 2 years and it was getting worst by the minute. Purchased this one because the reviews compared it to the Galaxy S7. For the price you can’t beat it. I compared it to the Galaxy 7 Edge and it’s bigger and same quality in image. I would definitely recommend if you are trying to upgrade and not pay $500+ for a phone.

Great phone! I had an HTC Desire and liked that, but this holds more apps on the phone- I was constantly having to uninstall updates on my HTC so that I would have enough space to even update an app that I used regularly, then move it to my SD card, I don’t have to waste a lot of time doing that now. And it takes awesome pictures! Very happy with this phone.

I switched over from a Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation, which also isn’t a bad phone, to this phone. Upon opening it, I loved the size of the phone. Definitely will need two hands to use a majority of it, but there is an option to use single hand mode. I placed it up against an IPhone 6+ and the screen size is the same just a little smaller in screen to body ratio. It was easy to switch over phones and the feel of this phone is a little slippery so I would recommend getting a case.

Works fantastically! This is definitely the best phone you will get for this price. I have yet to experience any lag, even with multiple RAM-consuming apps running. The screen is very large, but not so large that the phone is cumbersome or heavy. Its camera works very well and takes good quality pictures in most conditions. My only complaint so far is the battery life; it lasts about a full day if you use it minimally, but I do have to plug it in occasionally at dinner so it can last until I finally go to sleep.
Very happy with this phone

Great phone! Upgrading from a S3…very nice. Beautiful display. Relatively fast… Poor Man’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S7. Camera is very nice. Battery is still removable on this version. However battery life is much better than the S3 so I have found no reason to buy and extra battery yet. Note. There are two different versions to the j7 a 2015 and a 2016 version. This is a 2015 version. They are basically identical except for a few small differences. The 2015 comes with lollipop but is upgradable 2 marshmallow. The 2015 also uses one button for the volume as opposed to two buttons for the 2016 version. You’ll need to know this when ordering a case for it because they are different. Very happy with this phone highly recommend it
Galaxy J7 – Perfect for an average user functionally – but SLIPPERY

So far so good. Although it did load a bunch of apps I’ll never use that I need to delete.

Super fast shipping, ordered Thurs, got it Sat morn! Easy as pie to activate & transfer my # from my old S3 to this one via phone. Transferred all my data, files, contacts also via phones, wasn’t expecting it to be this easy but glad it was. Love this phone!! It’s bigger, lighter than the S3, all Google apps (gmail google search etc) are lumped into one icon & few other changes but minor overall. Love the color, is while metallic on back cover, glittery. Am totally satisfied with this phone! Figured out the camera but haven’t discovered yet how to switch to video mode. Hmmm! One big gripe, HAS NO MESSAGE LIGHT!!!
Screwed No More!

Having been screwed by Darth Verizon for too many years, my son suggested I try getting a Virgin Mobile Samsung phone and service that he has been happy with. So I did the research on the J7 because itvwS so much cheaper than the S6 I was still paying on! Nevertheless, Amazons price was $40 less than anyone and Virgin’s plan was $35 compared to my comparable plan with Verizon at $90. I’m old but I’m not stupid. Got the phone in two days and it ported the old number perfectly. This phone is so much easier to use for my 66 year old brain but is also faster than the S6 on Verizon. Break free and get no contract with a great phone for less.
