I want your opinions and suggestions for my Career Choices? (Answers: 2) (Comments: 0)

Hey guys, I'm looking into careers (I'm currently 17, 18 in a couple months) but have 3 idea's of what I'd like. -Fire Service. I had wanted to join the Fire Service a few years back and did as much preparation as I can for it (Knowledge, learning all equipment, fitness training etc), but got disgruntled to find out my eyesight requirement would prevent me getting in. Until recently I found out (Or are these rumors?) that the Service accepts those who have had Laser Eye Surgery so one of my idea's would entail waiting until old enough and get laser eye surgery. In the mean time go to college/get a full time job and get some experience in general. -Police Force. A few of my relatives are apart of the Police force, and I generally find it interesting. Although it's a lot different than a Fire Service, I'm genuinely intrigued by the Emergency Services. -Although 3 completely unrelated career paths, these 3 are the ones I could personally see myself doing. This one would include going to College and University in the study of computing, (and other various subjects) and doing as much as I can to get experience until 21, and "Apply" for MI6 (Please no James Bond jokes etc.. they're old) in the Technology sector or as an Operational Officer. Just hoping for some feedback on these. (I'm trying to get some useful feedback so no stupid/insulting remarks please.)
