Sensory Bliss!

I am delighted! We borrowed a hop 45 from our elementary school to see if my 7 year old special needs twins would enjoy this for sensory diet before I purchased something similar. It was love at first sight! Based on their reaction, I wanted to purchase the same brand. I was thrilled to find out that these come in different sizes, and the hop 55 is a perfect fit. They use it to bounce, of course, but also to sit and watch TV, and roll around on their bellies. Since the weather has been cold and snowy here, this also helps tremendously with cabin fever. The quality is great, and very durable. These kids aren’t gentle at all when they play, and hop 55 is holding up just beautifully. We did not purchase the pump. I just went to our elementary school, batted my lashes, and asked them to fill it for me with their compressor. We did under fill just a tad, because we found the recommended PSI to be too hard for the boys to bounce.

Great for my 5 year old

My son is 5 and loves this. he is a big boy, 70 lbs, and this fits him perfect. I know all these different size balls are confusing. I took a shot at this one and it fits perfect. This ball is very durable, it seems really thick and puncture proof. Has a bit of an odor to it, but it goes away. hope this helps

I filled it up all the way and just adjusted it by letting some of the air out until it was perfect for him to bounce on

I got this for my six year old son and he absolutely loves it! I filled it up all the way and just adjusted it by letting some of the air out until it was perfect for him to bounce on. He’s been bouncing all over the place! lol

I was sitting in a hotel room while out of town on business when my seven year old son phoned me to tell me thank you for the “hoppity hop” that I had ordered for him two days earlier. It had arrived that day and his mother inflated it for him for no problems. He was hopping through the house while only occasionally stopping to tell me how much fun he was having and that he could not wait to use it outside after school the next day. His joy and enthusiasm put a smile on my face. The next day his older sister phoned me to tell me that she wants one too. After I write this review I will be ordering another ball for my twelve year old daughter. I highly recommend the Gymnic Hop ball.

My 6 yr old saved her own money for this ball (5 weeks of allowance!) four months ago, and she has been totally satisfied with her purchase! She plays with the ball constantly either hopping, laying on it, coming up with various “exercises”, or just as a seat in the living room. She will hop herself sweaty, breathless, and flushed any time she takes it outside. We used a bicycle pump with the adaptor to air up the ball, and it didn’t seem excessively difficult at all. The ball is quite durable, and it wipes clean very easily with a damp cloth. We didn’t notice a strange odor… just smelled like new ball to me :), and the smell dissipated very quickly! I will definitely buy a smaller version for our toddling son soon. When she isn’t looking, I sometimes take a hop break myself- super fun!!! Helpful?

I had previously purchased a smaller, cheaper hippity hop for my 6 year old niece – when it arrived, it was far too small for her frame. I returned it for this product, and am thrilled with the result. This size of ball was a bit big for her at first, considering she was a tiny little pixie of a kindergartner. Over the last year, she has grown into it nicely, and this ball has held up flawlessly, never even needing to be re-inflated. Its incredibly sturdy, and the shape of the handle is great for small hands to grip.

kids love it!

brought two of these. read review after review and was worried about it popping. my two boys are 6 and 10 and the same size (4’2″ & 4’4″ and forget their weight, but wear size 10-12 boys to give you an idea). I got this a few days ago (thank you PRIME shipping!) and the 6yr old tried it out first. he went flying a few times into the carpet, but got the hang of it within a half hour. he loved it..was absolutely out of breath, so i know it was a workout. his brother got to hop on his the next day and same thing…got the hang of it in short time. well, that’s all the did the rest of the weekend was hop, hop, hop back and forth….racing, fighting, picking it up by the handle and smacking each other…from p in the morning til 9 at night. buyer beware! lol

Smells for a long time out of box, watch for sizing

I bought this for my two boys aged 6 and 8 who are both short for their ages (about 15th percentile). Really it is too big for my six year old but I am not sure if the smaller size would have been too small. For now, it is working out. However, we opened these on Christmas and they smelled so bad that we had to banish them to the garage until today. I honestly am tempted to put them back in the garage because they still smell (over a week later). Clearly it is something in the rubber, but when people posted that it smelled, I really just didn’t think it would be that bad. I’m telling you–the day after we had inflated them, the entire room they were in smelled. This is no small minor odor. That said, I do have hope that one day they will not smell, and as they seem to be well made, I hope we will have many happy hours playing on them.

seems like it would be fun
